Kion drops this killer for the Clandestine Cultivations crew, with a shuddering wall of bass dominating proceedings from the off on the terrifying "Shine". Kion sticks to the recent fascination dubstep has found with cinematic atmosphere - an oddly effective blend of indecipherable vocal samples and layered strings making for a beautifully widescreen yet at all times rugged experience. "Ritual" on the flip is much more direct, a pummelling bassline and a jump-up template honing itself for the floor, while closing track "Rocka" is just immense - a clipped Sino marching track that's just about the sickest dubstep track we've heard in some time. Killer twelve - buy.
